Contributor Guide

Interested in helping out with the site? There are 3 main ways!

1. Donate Scans!

Interested in donating scans? There are a few basic guidelines for trading card donations.

  1. Scans must be of individual anime trading cards.
  2. DPI should be 150 or above. (200 - 300 recommended!)
  3. File names should be reasonable.
  4. Scans should be of something ACO doesn't have
  5. Scans will become part of ACO. They won't be watermarked and you can't take them away... but you will be treated like royalty here! ^.^

If all of the above are OK with you, contact me! You can contact me through the site (feedback form, contact form) or heck, the old direct method of e-mailing me at mystavash@animecards.org is A-OK.

If you are SURE you are going to donate scans you can add them to the Card Donations list (click on "Add new entry" on the bottom of the table).

2. Donate Lami Scans

Guidelines are similar to above. The lami section is run by Wolfio1. Please see the Lami Donation list.

3. Donate set information

Have information to add? Send it along!! You can post it directly to the site via Post a news story (select Set Info as the topic), or contact me through the various ways listed above.

4. Comment and post on the site!

Registered users can comment on everything!

Bonus!

If you donate scans and/or set information (both are important), I will be happy to help you with your website hosting. There are two plans: 1, you can host your website on ACO, or 2, just host your scans on ACO. Save your bandwidth, and keep providing those beautiful scans everyone loves! ACO has a lot of space it doesn't use, so I am happy to do anything I can to increase the amount of trading card resources out there.
