ACO is built with the donations of many contributors. They have given their time and their knowledge to helping other people. ACO's Scan Usage Policy is based upon respect for the contributors, while still seeking to be a reference for other collectors.

YOU CANNOT...

Take ACO scans and make your own scans/image gallery, even if you credit the source.

Use ACO scans for your store/commercial enterprise. (unless, of course, they were your scans in the first place!)

Link remotely to ACO scans (this means linking directly to the image and having it show up on your website).

Claim that ACO scans are yours. (duh)

YOU CAN...

Use ACO scans on your personal website, as long as you CREDIT AnimeCards.Org with a link to the website, and the use of scans isn't so much it's like a mini gallery.

Use ACO scans for things like avatars for your PERSONAL USE. (not you and your 1000 buddies ;p)

Use ACO set information on your site, as long as you credit ACO with a link where the set information is.

Whatever else, please be understanding that the contributors who donated their time and hard work to ACO didn't do it to see their efforts scattered all over the internet without any credit to the original creator of the image. So long as you use the images in good faith, all is well.

However, images taken without credit and for your own image galleries/store will be considered STOLEN, and you will be put on the Wall of Shame!
