I have added a new module called quicktags that you can use to easily add HTML to your posts.

There are many buttons! I know it's a bit confusing. I set up a TEST FORUM. Make whatever test posts you like here and try out the new features.

I'm excited about this because I think it makes the site more usable, and it brings back something that used to be there.

You will now see, hopefully, a "My Bookmarks" block. This will display up to 5 of your bookmarks. Do you need more? Let me know, I'll increase the limit. Right now, if you have more, it will display a more link.

If you don't use the block, you can uncheck it under My Account.

You can remove bookmarks either by going to the original post and clicking remove bookmark or by going to Manage bookmarks.

Hey, ya'll. I have free time this week, so while akai_neko is working on putting more and more scans up for you, I have been researching sets and testing out new features on a test site.

I've decided two new features will make the site easier to use, and I've already put them in. This only applies if you have javascript in your browser. If you come across any errors, please let me know. Read on for more information!

The previous logo was designed by head admin, akai_neko. She always expressed a wish that we have more trading card related graphics, so I finally got around to hiring an artist to create a logo for ACO. You can see the wonderful results above. As this is the first logo we've ever had professionally done, I'm pretty excited.

I don't like this feature as much as the old bookmarks, because you can't add gallery links. :( I know, that's bad, but, you can now bookmark your favorite trading lists.

Here's how it works:

1) Click on bookmark it! for any story or post on the main site.
2) it automatically gets stored in your "my bookmarks"
3) you can access it any time from "my bookmarks" (it's under the "Members Only" section on the left.
4) You can remove the bookmark at any time by either clicking "remove bookmark" on the post (story, forum post, etc) or going to "my bookmarks" and changing it.

Wow! That took a lot of work! Phew! I hope you saw the security alert I posted. For those of you who used the site, please check your computers with the latest anti-virus. I can give you some more details with the kind of virus that was affecting ACO. (bad shady russian criminal organization! bad!)

Should you trust ACO again? Yes, and no. :) Yes, you should always trust that I will do the best I can. But NO, I am not a professional programmer, and my best, quite frankly, is not good enough for your computer, home of your most precious things! PLEASE keep your security up on your browser, and make sure your anti-virus, anti-spyware is up to date!

Menu items for the trading lists were removed. I am trying to gradually clear up the menu.

These links have been replaced with ONE link in the upper right corner (near the search box).

I will also remove the Info link, and unexpand the FAQ link. Not many people use the news from other sites feature, this maybe be removed and put somewhere else.

Let me know if you want something or object to something being moved. I am mostly guessing what you want, so if you tell me... no guessing! :)

It's still a bit rough, but well, it works.

RIGHT now, all lists are TEST lists, so please double check with the member who wrote that post.

To create a trading card list, click on Add a trading list.

Lists are sorted by member name and by series.

I could spend an hour here writing about it, so instead, please just ask me questions, and I'll answer them the best I can. Post them as comments to this post, so everyone can see.

Thanks to our testers who tried it out and gave me feedback!

Please be aware that this system is VERY simple, and will stay that way. The only improvements to be made are more detailed instructions for how to make a nice list, and some tweaks in how the lists are displayed. I do not plan to add new features, such as letting you find people who collect the same specific set.

I was getting amazingly annoying favicon not found errors because my browser keeps looking for them, even though they're not enabled by the theme. Favicons (what you see in the location bar of your browser) are really really small, so I made a simple one. Anyone has any better ideas, let me know.

While I was at it, I made a logo of sorts. I like the idea of using real cards, but the design itself needs some work to really suit the site. I picked 3 pretty pretty cards, can you tell what they all are and where they're from?
