ha. many many apologies. I accidentally disabled every block (the stuff on the sides, like "Who's online" or "New forum posts".) I tried to enable what I remembered, but I may be missing a few, please report them here in a comment or email me at mystavash@animecards.org.

To make up for it, I enabled the Gallery grid block, which you should now see on the left. It may be disabled again in the future if my host complains, but let's enjoy it for now! :)

Update: I added a little box on the side as a reminder to me and to you about things that are broken. You can disable it by going to My account. It's called Bug List.

I just updated several modules to the latest version. This sometimes has unintended consequences, so let me know if you see something funny or something is broken. Or, hey, if something is fixed! :)

Introducing the Wall of Shame for shamless Usage Policy violators!

According to our Usage Policy, you may not use ACO's images to set up your own image gallery. You CAN use them for your trading lists, so long as you accredit us properly.

I was searching for some Kanon cards, and guess what I found! A very bad bad violation of our Usage Policy

Now, really, ladies and gents, don't you think that's just bad manners?

I'm sorry for the delay in approving the accounts. I normally try to get accounts approved the day I get them, but apparently, Gmail was putting them in my spam box. My apologies!

Hey, all.

I'm sure you've noticed that the site has been slow. I noticed and contacted my host. They have offered to move our database to a new server that won't be as slow. They also said it will only take 10 minutes.

I generally take all their estimates and multiply them by six. :)

So I have told them to go ahead and do it between 10 - 11 AM EST. I am not sure on what day they will do it, but the site will be down during that time.

I seem to have gotten bogged down with "little" things to fix around the site, but please know that we have some fabulous donations lined up. Our fabulous gallery admins will be taking care of it, and I'll be fixing this and that.

I've fixed a couple of things:

suki-chan [member profile] has joined the ACO team! She successfully completed gallery training, and is now one of our fabulous gallery admins.

This means more scans will be uploaded much faster! I'm excited. Gallery maintenance is not a sexy job, but it's a super important one, because these are the people who make ACO a quality reference site!
