//Raised in an English orphanage during the beginning of the 20th century, young Nadja receives a mysterious package near her 13th birthday. The contents: a ball gown, a diary written in a foreign language, and a letter revealing that her mother might still be alive. Parallel to this incredible disclosure, two men appear set on stealing her brooch, invaluable item that holds the key to her true lineage. Barely escaping them with the help of a handsome stranger, Nadja leaves the orphanage and joins the Dandelion Troupe, a wandering group of artists that perform throughout Europe.
